The Lehigh German Shepherd Dog Club, Inc. is a non-profit corporation established in 1965 for the following purpose:​
  • To encourage and promote the breeding of pure-bred German Shepherd Dogs and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

  • To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which German Shepherd Dogs shall be judged.

  • To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows.

  • To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

Can I become a member?

Regular membership is open to all persons eighteen years of age of older who are in good standing with The American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of the Lehigh German Shepherd Dog Club, Inc.



A junior membership is open to all persons between the ages of fourteen and eighteen who are in good standing  with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of the Lehigh German Shepherd Dog Club, Inc.
